A visit from Santa

Santa defiantly stopped at our house. The girls were just a blast this year. Mike and I had the bright idea that we didn't want them to get up without us, so we thought the thing to do was to put them in our bed. We waited until we went to bed, big mistake. We will never do that again. None of us got any sleep! But boy was it ever worth it. It was so much fun to see their excited faces. They got far too much as always, but Santa found lots of good deals!! I hope that all of you had a great Christmas as well.

Ready or not here we come....

What a very sweet face!

Jenna loves Thomas

Both of the girls wanted lots of baby doll stuff. So here was the diaper bag that Santa brought.

Lindsey helps Nate get his stocking.

Lindsey is playing dress up.

Jenna wanted the game Lucky Ducks. She was so excited when she opened this gift.

Open up those gifts quick girls, and be sure to get every piece of paper off!

Lindsey wanted Lady & Tramp. Santa found a way to get it even though it is in the vault.

What cute towels you got!

Lindsey plays with her new dress up clothes.

As soon as Jenna saw that Lindsey has her outfit on she has to put one of hers on as well.

Christmas Eve at Auntie & Uncle's

For Christmas Eve we went to Auntie & Uncle's house. We all had a fun time. Of course there were presents for the little ones. Auntie and Uncle bought a "scooter Jeep" for the girls. All of the older kids got scooters, so our girls thought that they got a scooter as well. It was so fun to watch them drive the Jeep. Luckily they didn't fight over who got to drive, they just took turns. It was so much fun. Their faces were so sweet. So enjoy....... Oh yeah, keep in mind that they are 2. They really need driving lessons!

We always share.....

This is one of the girls favorite sayings. Especially when the sister has something that they want! We always share......yes we share everything! Potty and all......

Lindsey where are you?

The girls do not take good naps anymore if at all. Most days naps are nonexistent. On this special day though they did take a nap. I went in to check on Lindsey and found her in the most peculiar place. She had dumped out all the clothes that I had folded and was in the laundry basket sound asleep. It was so sweet. I ran and got the camera and started snapping. Luckily she stayed asleep!

Twins.....Spooky!

Okay....I never really thought that the twin thing was for real. You know what I am talking about. The way that twins get sick even if they live in different places or the way that they think the same. Well it has been confirmed for us. Jenna has been pretty sick the last couple of weeks with a stomach bug. Lindsey got it but not nearly as bad. OK , no big deal. I would have agreed until this morning. Lindsey came and got in our bed at about 6:30. At about 7:00 she sat up and said "Momma, Jenna's awake". I looked at her and said," how do you know that?". No answer. One to two minutes later here comes Jenna. I was freaked out! There was no noise, and even if there was you would not have been able to hear it because of the radio playing loudly in the girls room as well as the door was shut. So then I started thinking about it and remembered that the same thing has happened about 2 or 3 times before. We just never thought about it, probably because we are usually still half asleep. So just a little something to think about. From now on I guess I will believe it when other parents of twins say that they have a very special bond. I will be able to agree! Have a great weekend........

The girls are loving Christmas this year. They got to put a tree up in their room this year. How cool!
My Mom, my Sister, and Myself all went out shopping on B.F. We left my house at 2:30 that morning. Jennifer and I had our lists totally prepared. We were in line at Kohl's at 3:00. I was the first person in the toy department! WooHoo....... We found so many great deals and it was really a lot of fun. Mike reminded me a few days later that I got to go shopping for 12 hours. We did not return home until 2:30 that afternoon. To top it all off Mike had put our tree up, minus the ornaments. Wow, what a productive day!
Later that Night Mike put the lights up on the house. This was the trip we all took outside to turn them on. I felt like the Griswalds! He did a wonderful job. It looks so pretty. I will post pictures of that later. The camera is dead........

The other night....

Mike and I went in to check on the girls as we do every night before turning in. This was what we found. Jenna kept telling us she wanted to sleep in Lindsey's bed and we just kept saying why don't you just sleep in your bed. Well, turns out she did not take our advice. She was hanging off of the bed, but she was in her sister's bed just like she wanted. She had also pt on her Curious George house shoes as well. This little girl is really a mess!

Is there anything sweeter....

than a sleeping baby. Well they are not so much babies anymore, but they will always be my babies. I just wanted to share these precious moments that are so valuable to me!

So sweet.....

When I am doing paperwork for Even Flow Plumbing the girls just kinda have to find something to do. Lots of times they play very well together, other times they just want to chill in front of the tv. I really have to limit that though, because I think that they would lay there all day. So anyway....the other day I finished up in the office and this was what I found. They brought the pillows off of our bed into the living room in front of the tv and were highly set up. Then I looked closer to see I needed to get the camera quick. Jenna was laying on Lindsey and Lindsey was playing with her hair. It was so sweet.
