I am crazy!!!

Catching up?

Well......The holidays are upon us and as always I am behind. Here is a quick attempt to catch up and to stay caught up......

So Far BEHIND!

It has been very busy at our house, so I will try to catch everyone up very quickly without lots of pics............
1. I am not working 2 days a week anymore. I decided that it was just too much to try to do, and Mike didn't care either way.....
2. Both girls have been potty trained for a good month to two months........WOO HOO !!!
3. Lindsey had not slept for about a month all through the night. She had a chronic ear infection for three solid weeks. We put tubes in last Monday and we are sleeping all night again! Thank goodness!!!! (oh and the ear infection is gone too!)
4. The girls are starting to really put their heads together and get into lots of trouble. A few weeks ago they dumped a milkshake and a sprite, mixed it all together, took their clothes off and were playing slip n slide in it on the hardwood floors. This was very interesting. Where was Momma you ask...In the office doing a W-9 for the business so we could get paid from someone. This all took place in less than 10 minutes tops! For those of you wondering what I did ( I was home by myself with them) no they didn't get a spanking or timeout. Sorry to admit it but I just laughed. It would have done no good to get huffy and puffy about the situation, because technically it was my fault for not paying better attention. Never mind the fact that the W-9 needed to be done in order to put food on the table! The girls had to go directly into the bathtub, while I called in reinforcements to help clean the the milkshake and sprite mixture (very sticky) off of the walls and floor basically all the way through the house because they were getting a really good running start. The area rug in the living room also had to be taken off of the premises. Pretty funny HUH!? This is just one of the joys of being a mother of twins. I am just waiting until the open the fridge and get the eggs out. I have been told stories of children throwing the eggs at each other. If that happens I will be sure to take pictures.........

This is what you get when you think that each other has the kids! Yes Jenna is professing to be a plumber already...........We even tried to flush it with her in it. She could care less. Didn't bother her..........The girls are both literally into everything : ).........

MAKEUP!!!!

We had to go to the Dollar Tree to get Makeup for the girls. They love it!!! They also like to put it on everyone else as well including Daddy........He is such a trooper........

For the 4th of July we went to Craig's Lakehouse. We had lots of fun. We could not keep Lindsey out of the water. Jenna did a whole lot better this time.




The kids found this frog and the girls liked to look, but that was all!

Ring around the Rosie

Jenna and Lindsey are starting to play together really well again. We went thru a stage where they did not. This is one of the current favorite things to do. By the way, everything is their favorite thing to do and all foods and drinks they say " Momma that's my favorite"!!!! They are getting to be so much fun.....

Oh sweet sleep....

There is something to be said about sleeping like a baby. It seems (to me) that once you become a Momma you just don't ever sleep the same again. I wake up at the sound of a pin drop! These little girls....they sleep like rocks!

Both girls seem to LOVE the water. We can put on floaties and let go. Lindsey likes to just jump on in. Jenna is starting to do a lot better than when we first started out this summer.

These little dresses are actually bathing suit cover-ups that our friends Debra & Mary gave to the girls. They have decided that they will wear them as a dress.

Hey to all. I know that I am very far behind, and I plan to try to update within the next few days!!!! Hope all are doing well............

FRUSTRATED!!!!

This is just a venting session for me!!! Does anyone else out there have problems with nap time? At our house everyday both girls end up getting in loads of trouble. They always want to sleep together, but if I let them they both end up getting in trouble. This goes on for at least an hour every single day. It is so frustrating. I stick with what I say, but it just does not seem to work. Both of them today have gotten a spanking. It has been 45 minutes since I put them down and neither is asleep! What a terrible time of day at our house everyday!!!!! As my Mom says this too will pass.................Comments and suggestions gladly welcome!

Finally.......

We have finally gotten there with one! Jenna is now potty trained. It really didn't take that long once I just stuck with it. She has not had a diaper on in 3 weeks! She even sleeps in her big girls panties. Hopefully Lindsey (who has no desire) will come around soon.......

P.S. Lindsey told us last night while we were at church that she needed to go PEE PEE. I took her and SHE DID IT!!! Hopefully it won't be long........

Total submersion

Both of the girls love to take a bath. I let them stay in the tub forever.......Last night Lindsey laid down in the water and started staying "take me picture Momma"......so I had to run to get the camera. Here is the edited version.
